Product description
Lac stains are solvent-based stains, ready to use and pre-mixed for application. Their use results in a rustic effect with a clearly visible wood structure. They are particularly recommended for enhancing coarse-pored woods such as oak.
These stains perfectly highlight the natural texture of the wood, emphasizing its beauty and unique character. Thanks to their special formula, solvent-based stains penetrate deeply into the wood, providing a uniform and long-lasting color.

Drying time
At a temperature of 20 °C, the stain dries within a few minutes.
Attention
Solvent-based stains should be stored only in glass containers, solvent-resistant plastic containers, or metal containers with a special protective coating.
Application instructions
Preparation
Before application, the stain must be thoroughly mixed and shaken well to evenly distribute the pigments throughout the entire mixture. During application, it should be stirred periodically to avoid color differences.
Surface
The pieces should be sanded in the final stage with 150 / 180 grit sandpaper. Surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned of dust before application. The stain can be applied by wet spraying or wiping with a cloth. Any excess should be removed in the direction of the wood grain.
Finishing
After complete drying, it is recommended to coat the surfaces with KNEHO varnishes as a final layer. The choice of the appropriate varnish depends on the final use of the product and the level of stress it will be exposed to.
Color options
To achieve custom colors, solvent-based stains can be mixed together if the manufacturer confirms their compatibility. To lighten the color, use the solvent recommended by the manufacturer.
