Safety measures
Solvents and thinners are flammable products and must be handled with care. Always use them in well-ventilated areas, away from heat or ignition sources. Use appropriate protective equipment (gloves, safety glasses) and follow the instructions on the label. Store in tightly closed containers, in cool, well-ventilated areas, away from direct sunlight. Consult the safety data sheets for complete information on safe handling and storage.
Application Instructions
Choosing the right thinner
Always use the thinner recommended for the specific product. Using an incompatible thinner may cause surface defects, delayed drying, or compromised finish properties. Check the product’s technical data sheet or contact our technical team for specific recommendations.
Correct dosing
Always follow the recommended proportions. Add the thinner gradually, stirring continuously until the desired viscosity is reached. Excessive dilution may negatively affect coverage, drying time, and the final properties of the finish. For special additives, strictly follow the dosage specified in the technical data sheet.
Application conditions
Ambient temperature and humidity affect solvent evaporation. Under warm and dry conditions, a slower-evaporating thinner or retarder additive may be required. Under cold and humid conditions, faster-evaporating thinners may be preferable. Adjust your choice of thinner according to working conditions.
