Water-based stains
Product description
By applying water-based stains, a uniform effect is achieved on most hardwoods and softwoods (oak, beech, spruce, walnut, cherry, etc.). The wood structure is preserved and emphasized by the stain. This category of stain is recommended for finishing wooden furniture and wood components used in interior spaces.

Drying time
At a temperature of 20 °C, the stain dries completely in approximately 4 hours.
Attention
This category of stains is water-based, therefore sensitive to freezing. Use tools and containers that do not corrode when in contact with water.
Application instructions
Preparation
Before application, the stain must be thoroughly mixed. During application, it should be stirred periodically to avoid color variations.
Application
The stain can be applied with a brush or by spraying. When applied with a brush, the stain should be applied generously, then the excess wiped off in the direction of the wood grain. Spraying can be done without wiping.
Finishing
Tools and containers should be cleaned with water. As a final layer, the stained surfaces can be coated with KNEHO varnishes. For light colors, it is recommended to use UV-resistant lacquer systems to prevent yellowing.
Color options
To achieve custom colors, water-based stains can be mixed together after compatibility has been confirmed by the manufacturer. The stain color can be lightened by adding up to 10% water.
